Jacqueline O’Donovan OBE is recognised as an innovator, leading force and influential trailblazer in the waste, logistics, transport and construction industries.

Having led and exited a multi-award winning waste management business, she is now an advocate for sustainability, diversity, health, safety and environmental excellence, leading with authenticity – and a dose of good humour.

A well-known international speaker and media personality, her expertise has been shared at many global events and media outlets including the BBC, ITN and RTE.

Recognised for her hard work and commitment, Jacqueline is a true disruptor and trailblazer.

She has been bestowed with numerous awards and accolades, including a number of respected fellowships and affiliations with professional organisations and bodies in the sectors.

Awards include PwC Private Businesswoman of the Year, Growing Business Awards Entrepreneur of the Year, and twice being named Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors.

Jacqueline is a keen advocate of sustainable operations as well as encouraging diversity and inclusion. She is the only female CEO in the world to earn a Master’s Degree in Demolition Management, and has also studied with the Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) at the University of Cambridge, taking the lead in tackling the world’s most pressing global challenges.

A dedicated philanthropist, Jacqueline has been honoured by the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, with a Presidential Distinguished Service Award for her continuous support of the Irish community in the UK.

Most recently, Jacqueline was awarded an OBE in King Charles III’s Birthday Honours list for her outstanding services to Recycling, Safety and Industry.
